Blackburn Slap £15 Million Price Tag On Christopher Samba
It has been revealed that Blackburn Rovers want £15 million for Christopher Samba.
The Daily Star Sunday has reported that the DR Congo international, born in France, was originally valued at £8m before the price on his head rose first to £10m then £12m.
However Rovers are now quoting almost double the original figure to clubs inquiring about giant Samba, 27, because of the interest of Arsenal and Tottenham.
Blackburn boss Steve Kean doesn’t want to lose Samba having seen his central-defensive partner Phil Jones move to Manchester United for £16.5m.
But Blackburn’s cash problems mean it would be difficult for them to resist a big bid for Samba.
